Selected to Speak at OHCA About Taking Your Antibiotic Stewardship Program to the Next Level

Becky Sommers R.Ph., V.P.Clinical Services and Dr. Courtney Myers, Consultant Pharmacist, were selected to speak at the Ohio Health Care Association (OHCA) 2018 Annual Convention in May. Antibiotic Stewardship is a long-term continuous quality improvement project. Now that the requirement to have an Antibiotic Stewardship Program is here, Becky and Courtney will discuss how to implement tracking tools, assessments, procedures and protocols to positively affect the appropriate use of antibiotics in your facility. Meaningful Antibiotic Stewardship is a gradual building process and this session will educate about what processes you can implement next to take your program to the next level.
